Turtle Creek North-Garage Restoration
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Turtle Creek North-Garage Restoration project focused on in-depth waterproofing and exterior restoration to protect the garage long-term. The team performed full-depth concrete repairs to restore damaged areas of the garage, and reinforced the CMU walls to enhance overall structural support and stability. A new vehicular guardrail system was installed to ensure safety by preventing vehicle impact damage. To address water intrusion, below-grade waterproofing techniques were applied, along with chemical grout injection to seal cracks and joints, providing long-lasting protection against leaks. The project also included the full replacement of sealants throughout the garage to ensure all joints and seams were properly sealed for enhanced water resistance. Additionally, a heavy-duty traffic coating was applied to high-traffic areas, providing a strong, resilient surface to withstand constant vehicle movement, while a light reflective coating was added to improve visibility and reduce heat absorption, contributing to the building’s energy efficiency. To manage water runoff effectively, a trench drain system was installed, preventing water pooling and ensuring proper drainage. Overall, the project utilized high-performance materials and innovative solutions to restore the garage's structural integrity while ensuring long-term protection against the elements.
