Project Description:

Sunbelt was tasked with structural restoration at the Stonebriar Garage B Plate. Work included removing 18 deteriorated steel plates, concrete demolition, sandblasting, and rewelding shear steel connections. New rebar reinforcement with epoxy and rust inhibitor primer were applied to strengthen the structure. The team also replaced the topping slab, performed patchback with Sika repair mortar, and installed the BASF Master Traffic 2500 system. This restoration restored the garage’s durability, safety, and long-term usability.

Scope of work:

• Remove 18 steel plates

• Remove damaged concrete

• Sandblast and reweld shear steel connections

• Install new rebar reinforcement with epoxy

• Apply rust inhibitor primer to steel

• Remove and replace topping slab

• Pour back with Sika repair mortar (broom finish)

• Install BASF Master Traffic 2500 system
