Project Description:

This high-rise condominium restoration centered on improving the building’s glazing system and long-term envelope performance. Sunbelt completed wet-sealing of windows and spandrel units, replacement of frame splice joints with Dow 123 preformed sealant tape, and gasket removal/replacement. Additional work included sealing frame-to-frame splice joints and wet sealing glass-to-frame connections. These measures significantly extended the life of the window systems and improved weather resistance for residents.
Scope of work:

• Wet seal windows and spandrel units (glass to frame)

• Replace frame splice joints with Dow 123 preformed sealant tape

• Remove/trim window gaskets

• Wet seal glass to frame

• Seal frame-to-frame splice joints
