Project Description:
The Rees-Jones Library project at Southern Methodist University combined new construction with advanced waterproofing and building envelope systems. Sunbelt installed below-grade, underslab, blindside, and post-applied waterproofing systems, as well as air barriers, flashings, and emseal expansion joints. Building and site sealants were also applied, along with site paving waterproofing. These measures were critical in creating a watertight, energy-efficient facility that supports SMU’s academic environment while preserving the architectural design of the campus.
