First Baptist Church Pittsburg
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The FBC Pittsburg project was a restoration and waterproofing effort designed to enhance the building’s exterior and provide long-lasting protection. The project included the application of Optic on masonry to improve both appearance and durability. Concrete walkways and balconies were demoed and resloped to improve drainage, while 9,000 square feet of metal panels were removed and replaced with an EIFS, improving insulation and weather resistance. EIFS coating was applied to provide a seamless, protective layer, and traffic coatings were installed in high-traffic areas for added durability. Wet seal was applied to joints and seams to enhance waterproofing throughout the building.
