Stephenville, Texas
Stephenville First Baptist Church
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Stephenville Church project was a comprehensive restoration effort aimed at preserving the building’s structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. The work included retrofit anchoring of the existing cast stone cornice to improve stability, along with cast stone spall repairs, patching, and crack injections to address damage and prevent further deterioration. The project also involved the reconstruction of a collapsed gable on the pediment, restoring the architectural feature to its original design. In addition, cast stone windows were replaced, and damaged bricks were replaced to maintain the church’s historic charm. Masonry cleaning was performed to enhance the building’s exterior, and a complete roof replacement ensured long-term protection from the elements. Through these efforts, the project successfully preserved the church’s beauty and reinforced its structural resilience for the future.
