Project Description:

The 1999 McKinney project was a large-scale restoration of a high-rise residential tower in Dallas. Sunbelt’s work focused on balcony waterproofing and façade restoration, including repairs to decking scuppers and drains, balcony curbs, and perimeter sealants. The team removed and replaced window and door sealants, remediated joints in brick and CMU, and performed wet sealing for enhanced waterproofing. Pressure washing, pipe railing painting, and coping cap remediation were also included. This comprehensive restoration extended the service life of the building while improving safety and aesthetics for residents.

Scope of work:

• Balcony decking scuppers and drains

• Balcony perimeter concrete curbs

• remove/replace window and door join sealants, sealant joints in brick, and wet seal

• Pressure wash brick and CMU

• Prepare and clean & paint pipe railing and metal coping caps
