Responsibilities

• Assist estimators in reviewing drawings, specifications, and bid documents.

• Support preparation of take-offs, pricing, proposals, and bid packages.

• Help Project Managers with project schedules, submittals, RFIs, and documentation.

• Participate in project meetings with internal teams, clients, and consultants.

• Visit job sites to observe operations, quality control, and safety practices.

• Assist with daily reporting, cost tracking, and productivity monitoring.

• Gain exposure to Sunbelt’s specialized service areas: waterproofing, façade restoration, and roofing.

• Support project close-out activities and preparation of final documentation.

Skills/Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field.

• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.

• Comfortable working with numbers, drawings, and technical documents.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); exposure to Bluebeam or takeoff software a plus.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Ability to climb ladders and safely visit active construction sites (safety equipment provided).

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

• Professional, trustworthy, and eager to contribute.
