Service Area: Daytona Beach to Fernandina Beach, including Jacksonville
Sunbelt Specialty Contractors is looking for a dependable Project Foreman who leads by example and takes pride in quality work. This role works alongside our waterproofing, restoration, or roofing crews, directs daily tasks, and coordinates with the Superintendent to keep materials, equipment, and manpower ready for the work ahead. We need someone with hands-on construction experience who communicates clearly, helps crew members develop their skills, and takes ownership of safety, workmanship, and daily production.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with project superintendent to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Communicate clear expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities daily.
Coordinate and execute specified production schedule, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
Manage and control labor, material and consumable usage on assigned projects.
Manage company assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly.
Follow, enforce and adhere to safe work practices and risk management guidelines.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience within the construction industry (Restoration Experience is a plus)
English Speaking, bilingual preferred
OSHA 30 Certification
Valid Driver’s license
Ability to communicate and lead others
Ability to lead multiple crews spread among multiple jobs
Able to work independently without significant supervision
MS excel, word, and outlook knowledge
Ability to multitask
Ability to read and interpret drawing blueprints and specifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
Must be able to work outside in changing weather conditions
Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week and overtime when necessary
