Sunbelt Specialty Contractors is looking for a motivated Project Manager/Estimator to join our St. Augustine office, supporting projects from Daytona Beach to Fernandina Beach, including the Jacksonville area. We need someone who takes ownership, builds strong relationships, and keeps projects moving—with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the confidence to address challenges directly. From estimating and securing work to supporting our field teams through completion, this role helps deliver the quality and service our clients expect.

Service Area: Daytona Beach to Fernandina Beach, including Jacksonville
Responsibilities
Review plans, specifications, and project conditions to identify scope, requirements, and potential risks.
Complete takeoffs, develop cost estimates, obtain vendor pricing, and prepare proposals.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, consultants, and vendors.
Manage multiple projects from estimating and preconstruction through completion and closeout.
Coordinate with superintendents and foremen to plan manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules.
Manage contracts, submittals, RFIs, purchase orders, change orders, billings, and invoice approvals.
Track labor hours, production, material costs, and budgets to identify issues early and keep projects on track.
Visit job sites and attend project meetings to review progress, resolve concerns, and support field operations.
Ensure QA/QC documentation is complete and work meets project specifications and manufacturer requirements.
Coordinate punch lists, warranty requests, and closeout documents.
Promote safe work practices and clear communication across the project team.
Represent Sunbelt professionally and follow through on commitments to clients and coworkers.
Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial construction experience; waterproofing, restoration experience preferred.
Experience with estimating, project management, and reading plans and specifications.
Experience with PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or On-Screen Takeoff is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Clear communication skills and confidence addressing project issues.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with office and field teams.
Willingness to learn Sunbelt’s processes and take accountability for results.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to assigned job sites throughout the service area.
