Raised in a military family, Jim learned the value of hard work, dedication, and loyalty early on. At 17, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, where those principles were reinforced and became the foundation for his professional life. While attending college in the early 1990s, Jim launched his career in construction by starting a small painting and pressure-washing company in Jacksonville, gaining hands-on experience in multiple trades.

His career later included time as a commercial/industrial representative with Benjamin Moore, where he earned NACE 1, 2, and 3 certifications, before joining a major restoration company in Florida. Over 17 years there, Jim advanced into district management, building deep knowledge through hands-on experience, teaching, and consulting. In 2022, he earned his General Contractor’s license in Florida, Georgia, and Louisiana, further solidifying his expertise.

Today, Jim serves as President of Sunbelt Restoration of Florida, leading teams in Destin and Jacksonville. He oversees all aspects of Sunbelt’s services across the region, from preconstruction through field operations, ensuring that Sunbelt’s reputation for quality, safety, and customer care remains consistent. Jim is passionate about developing his teams, building strong client relationships, and driving Sunbelt’s growth in Florida.

Outside of work, Jim values time with family and the same dedication to service and teamwork that has guided him throughout his career
