As a member of Sunbelt Waterproofing & Restoration, LLC., you will be responsible for the performance of work within a particular work area and in accordance with generally accepted standards of the crafts. Carpenters, Bricklayers, Caulkers, etc. are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
– Can caulk in one pass without the need for clean up at least 80% of the time – To be able to shoot and tool a uniform sealed aesthetically looking caulk joint to the correct depth per the desired width of joint opening.
– Work may require use of boom lifts, scissor lifts, swing stage, scaffolds, ladders, boswain’s chair (sky genie), or bucket trucks to reach great heights inside and outside of buildings under construction
– Demonstrate and promote Sunbelt’s core values of safety, quality, and teamwork
– Help in the training and development of Technicians
– Ability to meet Caulking production rates based on years of experience in this trade based on Industry Standards.
Work includes, but not limited to:
– Caulking – Urethane and Silicones, different types of substrates, brick, precast, windows, etc.
– Wet sealing is a plus
– Air Barriers – Fluid and sheet applied, all associated accessory materials for detailing
– Deck Coatings – Vehicular and Pedestrian, Urethane and Epoxy
– Wall Coatings – Acrylic Elastomeric and Silicone based products
– Concrete – Patching and sealing
Qualifications
– Minimum 2-5 years of field experience in commercial or industrial construction.
– Physically, workers must be able to stand or walk for long periods; lift and carry materials weighing 50 pounds or more; climb ladders, scaffolds and other objects carrying tools and equipment; and see (naturally or with correction).
– Ability to work at heights, extreme temperatures and to wear company’s safety equipment is essential.
– Ability to multitask in a high volume, fast-paced work environment with firm deadlines.
– Certifications
– Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
– Valid Driver’s License
