PROJECT DESCRIPTION
San Jacinto College Central Campus is a public community college in Pasadena, Texas. The new construction on the campus is a 120,000 square foot instructional building that encompasses 60 classrooms for math, pre-engineering, college prep, English, and humanities courses. The building century-old technology by using mass timber architectural beams and will be the largest instructional building in the United States constructed by mass timber. The scope of work completed in 2022 by Sunbelt Waterproofing and Restoration includes applying air barrier, sheet metal flashing, sealants, and below-grade waterproofing. *The nation’s largest mass timber instructional building*
